Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before you decide.
You do not have to arrive knowing all the details. These answers cover the practical essentials; I am available on WhatsApp for a short general question.

How much is a session?
I usually offer one-to-one sessions of 60 minutes for £50, and I currently offer block bookings at £45 per session. If you are considering a programme, message me before booking so I can confirm the practical details clearly.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no set number that suits everyone for a one-to-one session. You can start with one session, take time to reflect, and decide what feels useful for you. A programme has a named focus and a structured format, but it is not a promise of a particular personal outcome.
What happens in a first session?
I begin the session with a relaxed conversation, basic information and a brief health history so I can consider suitability and any contraindications. I explain the possible approach, answer questions and check what feels comfortable before anything else happens. You remain in control throughout.
Can I choose the technique used?
Yes. You can ask about a particular approach, or talk through the options with me. Nothing should feel rushed or assumed, and you can say no or change your mind at any point.
Do I need to know anything before booking?
No. You do not need prior experience of EFT, Sound Therapy or Quantum Touch. I designed the site to explain the starting points in plain English, and I am available on WhatsApp for a private general question before you decide.
Is online EFT available?
Yes. I currently offer EFT Tapping online, while I offer Sound Therapy and Quantum Touch in person in Wallasey and Hoylake.
Can Sound Therapy and Quantum Touch be combined?
Yes. I can discuss a one-to-one complementary wellbeing session that combines Sound Therapy with Quantum Touch. Quantum Touch is a hands-on complementary healing modality, so I explain and agree the touch involved before you decide. If you would rather not be touched, tell me so we can discuss whether Sound Therapy on its own or another format feels more suitable. This is not medical treatment and no particular outcome is promised.
Where are in-person sessions held?
I offer all in-person services at Central Park Well-being Centre, 204 Liscard Road, Wallasey, CH44 5TN, and at Roots in Wellness CIC, 6 Carr Lane, First Floor, Carr Lane Business Park, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4AX. Central Park has step-free entrance and therapy-room access. Roots in Wellness has on-street parking but is reached by a large staircase and is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
What should I bring to a Sound Bath?
Bring anything that helps you feel comfortable, such as a blanket, mat or cushion if this has been requested for the event. I typically hold Sound Baths twice a month at Wallasey Village Library and Community Centre, CH45 3NE, and monthly at Balance Studio, 215 Hoylake Road, CH46 0SJ. Check the current event details before booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel 48 hours or more before your appointment, you can reschedule without losing payment. Cancellations with under 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments are non-refundable. Late arrivals are seen within the remaining appointment time.
Is Energy Works medical or emergency support?
No. I offer complementary wellbeing sessions, not medical treatment, diagnosis or emergency support. If you have a health concern, are receiving treatment or are unsure whether a session is suitable, please speak with an appropriate healthcare professional and contact me before booking.
Is there peer-reviewed research into EFT Tapping?
Yes. EFT has a growing peer-reviewed evidence base. Selected systematic reviews have examined anxiety and PTSD symptom measures, and one randomised study reported a short-term fall in salivary cortisol after an EFT session. These findings do not predict an individual result or replace appropriate care. Read the plain-English research overview and original source links.
Are there any Tuning Fork Therapy contraindications?
Tuning Fork Therapy is not used for people with a DVT or a pacemaker. During the first trimester of pregnancy, prior GP consent is needed. I will ask for a brief health history before a session so we can discuss suitability and any safety considerations privately.
What does EFT Tapping involve?
In a guided EFT session, you choose a thought, feeling or situation to focus on. I guide a sequence of gentle tapping points while you use short phrases and notice what changes. It gives you a practical structure for approaching something that feels emotionally charged, at a pace you control.
Why Tap whilst talking?
When I guide EFT Tapping, I use specific acupressure points while we talk about thoughts, feelings or difficult experiences, bringing attention to the emotions we want to work through. I use gentle tapping with the intention of helping calm the body's stress response, reduce emotional intensity and create a greater sense of safety and balance, allowing us to process feelings in a more relaxed way.
Why is breathing part of Quantum Touch?
Breathing is a fundamental part of my Quantum-Touch practice. I use my breath to create a steady, positive energetic presence, with the intention of encouraging harmony and supporting the body's own self-healing processes.
I use specific breathing techniques alongside focused intention to cultivate and direct awareness towards the body's energy field, with the aim of supporting relaxation, balance and the body's natural wellbeing.
Why are Tuning Forks used on and around the body?
I use Tuning Forks that produce specific sound frequencies and vibrations you can experience through both hearing and touch. When I place weighted tuning forks gently on the body, they transmit vibrations through the tissues, while I hold unweighted forks around the body to create sound waves that can be heard and experienced within the surrounding energy field.
Solfeggio Frequencies
I use Solfeggio tuning forks tuned to specific frequencies, each traditionally associated with different aspects of emotional, energetic and spiritual wellbeing. I use these frequencies with the intention of encouraging balance, harmony and relaxation.
Weighted Tuning Forks
I use weighted tuning forks with weights attached to their ends, creating a deeper, more noticeable vibration when I apply them to specific areas of the body. I use them to provide a gentle vibrational experience, with the intention of helping to release tension, encourage relaxation and support a sense of grounding and balance.
